Common Causes of Female Infertility

Since infertility is strongly related to male and female reproductive system, let's start by understanding how our system works reproduction. This time we focus on the female reproductive system. Two vital organs included in the system are the uterus and the ovaries of a woman. Ovary is the organ that produces eggs or eggs and is under the control of the pituitary gland, which produces hormones.

Pituitary hormones including FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone). The first will be to stimulate the formation of follicles in the ovaries, while the second hormone controls the release of an egg from the ovary. The release of an egg is called ovulation. The moment shortly after ovulation is considered the best time for the fertilized egg to achieve greater development.

The egg has been released will be captured by the fallopian tube where it moves along and eventually fertilized by a sperm champion. The process of fertilization by a sperm and an egg is called design. According to this conception of the fertilized egg moves back to the uterus and implants in the uterine lining, or endometrium, where it then develops into a zygote which is the basic form of a new human being .

A more normal development depends on several things. First you must be supported by a vaginal environment and healthy and hygienic uterus. Second, the egg must be fertilized by sperm healthy and quality, and also with the support of a healthy and hygienic condition of the male sexual organ. These are the essential requirements must attend if you want to have a normal pregnancy.

Infertility and can occur because of a malfunction or defects in any part of the trajectory of the egg. There may be a hormonal imbalance, blocked fallopian tubes or uterus, frozen pelvis and abnormal growth of the cells of the reproductive organs. Let's review some of the most common causes of infertility. The ovulation disorders  Any disruption of the hypothalamic-pituitary axis cause some degree of hormonal imbalance. Even a slight imbalance of FSH and LH ovulation, which is a condition in which the eggs are not released by the ovary fire. Certain medications can also inhibit ovulation process.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)   It is also caused by a hormonal imbalance. This is due to an androgen hormone overproduction. Excessive formation of androgens without triggering false egg follicle formation. SOP has some relation to obesity and insulin resistance.

Prolactin elevation  This is a condition indicated by an increased amount of prolactin in the blood therefore also called  hyperprolactinemia. Prolactin stimulates milk production. increase of the prolactin in the blood is an indication of the presence of a tumor in the pituitary gland.

Obstruction of the fallopian tube or damage  Chlamydia can cause chronic inflammation of the fallopian tube and cause damage to the tube. This infection is asymptomatic so it goes unnoticed. The obstruction blocking the path of the fertilized egg in the uterus manufacture of implants in the tube or elsewhere outside of the uterus. This is a complication of pregnancy called ectopic pregnancy

Frozen Pond   It is also called pelvic adhesion which is indicated by the development of scar tissue which binds to the organs of the pelvis. This can occur after chronic abdominal infection or pelvic surgery. The scar tissue can bind the uterus and ovaries, making the job properly and inhibits the design process.

Endometriosis

It may happen that some tissues of the inner wall of the uterus (endometrium) begins and grows outside of the uterus. This affects the function of the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. And the same cells containing the endometrium, also has the same attribute as monthly cycle after hormone. Growing excretion and bleeding also occurs on a monthly basis, which may lead to inflammation and tissue healing. It is a common cause of infertility in women.

Uterine fibrosis   It is the presence of a benign tumor of the wall of the uterus. The growing body may prevent proper implantation of a fertilized egg instead of blocking the fallopian tubes and cause fertility problems. This condition is common in women age 30 to 40 years.

Early menopause  This occurs when menstrual cycles of women stops before the age of 40. While the main cause is unknown, but there is a related disease, such as smoking, diseases of the immune system, treatments involving chemotherapy and radiation can lead to early menopause.Other conditions

Other conditions that may be included as possible causes of infertility are drugs (causing temporary infertility), thyroid disorders, cancer treatment and caffeine.

infertility treatments are generally aimed at those issues. And the doctor's duty to establish a sound diagnosis and provide the correct course of treatment.
