Ovarian Cysts Infertility

Are you worried that your ovarian cysts may have developed? It is a rude and hard thinking to understand their anxiety because their ovaries produce eggs. If something goes wrong with the ovaries can become infertile. But it is not as bad as you might think. Ovarian cysts do not have to ruin your day and here's why.

Let's start by making it clear that ovarian cysts do not mean infertility. This should alleviate some of their concerns. In fact, they are common in women and most are harmless.

Some are actually just part of the normal processes of the body and reproductive system. One of the most common cysts called follicular cysts. They develop from normal body follicles. Follicles are things that your body uses to house the eggs in the ovaries until ready for use during ovulation. When the egg is released, it is broken and must disappear naturally. But sometimes it is not and becomes a cyst. It is ultimately removed by the body. Another type of cyst natural origin is the corpus luteum cyst. The yellow body is a gland that produces progesterone during pregnancy. It is created during the normal process of ovulation. However, if you are not pregnant, the gland becomes useless. Normally, the body will clean and recycle for another day. Again, sometimes do not disappear and remain as a cyst. As with follicular cysts, often were finally rinsed although they have been known to break in some cases. If they do, they may have to deal with because they can cause discomfort and pain.

Some cysts are slightly less normal. A endometrioma cyst is caused by the presence of uterine lining called the endometrium in the ovaries. This may be due to endometriosis, a cause of infertility, cysts but themselves are not known to interfere with the function of the ovaries unless they cause blockages due to their position or size. Another type of cyst called dermoid cyst can also be found in the uterus. This thing can sometimes strange because it contains functional tissues that can create hair, teeth, and even the eyeballs. Strange may be an understatement, but that does not make more of a threat than any other cyst. The fact that the cells are functional is a good sign because generally excludes cancer.

Although most are asymptomatic, meaning that no symptoms, some cysts can cause discomfort. Abdominal pain, painful urination or heavy menstrual bleeding can be caused by some cysts. These are more uncomfortable than really dangerous for fertility, but we know that some also cause pain during sex.

The best way to check for cysts or their cysts do not cause problems is through regular inspections and evaluations. Easily displayed in routine checks as a pelvic exam. Sometimes, other tests, such as ultrasound, x-ray and blood tests are needed, but most of them are simple process that does not require invasive procedures.

Most of the time, doctors ask you to wait before doing anything cysts, as already mentioned, most cysts disappear by themselves naturally. Medications may be prescribed if you need help or relief of symptoms. Contraceptives and hormones are used to reduce the size of the cysts to a manageable size in these cases. However, there is always a possibility that you may need surgery, especially if the cysts are causing too many complications and reduce medication.

One of the times when the presence of cysts can be a cause for concern is when you specify the polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a common cause of infertility in women. This disease causes cysts to form in the ovaries but cysts themselves cause infertility.

Hope this was helpful. Now you must know that ovarian cysts are not a reason to panic, even if you happen to have them. Remember that regular checks and can go a long way in keeping your reproductive system and his safe and healthy body.
